1973 Arctic Cat El Tigre 340

Well I now own the El Tigre.  It's in decent shape and runs good but I'll need to find some parts for it.

340 Model: 0250-027 Engine: T1B340RS1A Free Air
Spark Plug: NGK B9-EVA
Drive Belt: Dayco 1084
Carburetor:
2 - Mikuni VM 34-23
Fuel to Oil Ratio: 20:1

The hood has been damaged in front and has had a repair job done to it, also there is a hole cut in the top of the hood just behind the windshield.  My guess is that a previous owner may have done this to improve cooling of the free air engine in warm weather.  Along with that, the fiberglass belly pan also has a small hole in it and will also have to be repaired in the future.

Seat is in really good shape with only a few minor bad spots other than the bottom fabric.  Only problem is that it's actually from a 74 El Tigre.  The 73's had a diamond pleat pattern.

The Dash is cracked and a previous owner has installed switches for thumb warmers in it.  Like the seat, the dash is also from a 74 Model.  Along with that, the original kill switch with the tether assembly has been replaced (inside blue box) .  I've got the correct tether and now I have to find the switch itself.  Surprisingly, the correct kill switch was also used on the John Deere 295/S racing sleds.  Chrome gas tank is in really good shape with only minor rust around the filler neck.

The original clutch has been replaced by a Quik Shift clutch.
