I'm now also the owner of a 1978 Kawasaki Invader
440 for $125. The sled is in good shape overall and I was told when
I bought it that it had quit running while it was being ridden. I
pulled the sparkplugs and they had anti freeze on them so I pulled the
heads and found out the head gaskets were bad and also that it has been
sleeved for .020 over pistons.

What can I say, I love the flip up headlight! Seat had a smaller rip on the side when I picked it up but I didn't think about tying something over it or bringing a cover for the drive home and it tore more in the wind.
Handle bars have been cracked and rewelded and the wiring needs to be gone through. Wires for the headlight have melted and there was an aftermarket kill switch wired in on the dash.
And now some shots of the engine. When I was taking the heads off one of the bolts for the water inlet on one of the heads broke so I also need a different head.
That's all the photo's for now
